Absolutely! In fact, most people do. Our events are designed to be welcoming whether you're arriving with your best mate or flying solo. Our hosts will be on hand to help you settle in, make introductions and find your people — so you definitely won't be left awkwardly hovering in the corner.

Not at all. Our events are open to everyone who loves books, good conversation and meeting like-minded women and non-binary babes. Members may sometimes get early access, exclusive tickets or a discount, but we'll always make this clear on the individual event listing.

Of course! We'd love that. Just make sure they have their own ticket, as spaces are limited and we can't guarantee entry to anyone who hasn't booked.

That's exactly why these events exist! Come solo and we'll help you meet people. Whether you're naturally chatty or a little more nervous about walking into a room full of strangers, you're very welcome here. Our events are about books, but they're just as much about the people you meet along the way.

We sometimes take photos and videos at our events to share the Ladies Who Lit experience across our website and social channels. We'll let you know if photography or filming is planned for your event. If you have any concerns about being photographed, please speak to a member of the LWL team when you arrive.

All over! We're building a community that goes beyond one city, so you'll find Ladies Who Lit events in different locations across the UK, with new destinations and formats added regularly. If there's somewhere you'd love to see us, tell us — we're always listening.

New events are added regularly, and the best way to hear about them is to join our mailing list and/or Book Club. Members may also receive early access to selected events and tickets before they're released more widely.

YES. Tell us where you want Ladies Who Lit to pop up! Whether it's a particular city, bookshop, cinema, author or event idea, we'd love to hear it.

While we do everything we can to run events as advertised, occasionally changes may be necessary due to circumstances outside our control, such as venue, supplier or other unforeseen issues. If we need to make a significant change, we'll contact ticket holders using the details provided at booking and let you know what happens next.
