The Retreat
Our single priority is to give you space and time to read. All your meals are prepared for you, freshly brewed coffee and soft drinks are on tap and you can choose solitude or shared time with other readers during the daytime.
The evenings offer socialisation where we come together to enjoy incredible, local food and take part in activities over wine and laughter.
We hope for you to leave this weekend with a full heart, a bag of goodies and an exciting group of new friends.

5 Day Itinerary
The Location
Nestled in the Tuscan countryside, this stunning Italian villa will play home to our luxurious reading retreat.
With large en-suite bedrooms, spacious living rooms and large fireplaces, it’s like stepping into a dream. The luxury continues throughout the villa, giving you the perfect setting to relax.
Spend mornings here lounging by the aquamarine private pool, or choose one of the many shaded outdoor areas to relax. In the afternoons, bask in luxuriant garden or find a cosy reading nook away from the rest of the villa.
Take part in evenings of activities, or take time for you and retreat to your bedroom - the choice is entirely yours.

Having created the Ladies Who Lit Book Club as a way to combat loneliness whilst travelling the world, Megan decided to combine her love for literature and travel by offering women a luxurious and relaxing space to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and bring together like-minded women – a weekend retreat filled with books, conversation and lots of fun.
